 Congratulations to Stern's member and professional bodybuilder Diane Moreno! In August, Diane took first place in the International Natural Bodybuilding Association Masters (35 an over) Figure category. Even though she's a busy entrepreneur, Diane has recently put a focus on fitness competition and pulled away as a true champion this. Stern's Gym members Liz Ponce and Lorenzo Lunceford both placed second in their divisions at the National Physique Committee So Cal Championships on June 11th!  From Lorenzo "Today I was reminded of the words of my grandpa, a resilient man who fought in WW2 and built something beautiful after enduring great hardships early in his life. He was a humble man, who appreciated his success that much more because he knew what it was to struggle. I remember he used to say "keep your head tall and don't slouch when you walk, walk like you own the world". His words are more clear to me now than they ever have been. The next show I will be doing is the Pacific USA August 20th here in San Diego. This time, the goal is to bring better conditioning, and better posing. We will be bringing a package that would certainly make gramps proud!!!". Well, we're already proud Lorenzo, great job!  From Liz "I want to thank everyone who has supported me in my first NPC competition. It was an amazing night for Stern's Gym at the NPC bodybuilding championship. Alex Brown won the whole show, Edna Ferrer placed first in her division and I placed 2nd in Physique." Terrific job Liz! 5/28/16 Watch Stern's Members Liz and Lorenzo Compete at the So. Cal. Championships on June 11th5/28/2016  Stern's bodybuilders Liz Ponce and Lorenzo have been working hard to prepare and they are coming in to the contest ripped and ready! Lorenzo's focus has been on adding lean muscle to his tall frame while Liz has been all about cardio and diet to add cuts to the bulk she achieved over the winter. Both will be competing at the Scottish Rite Event Center in Mission Valley, San Diego on June 11th. Judging begins at 10am with finals that evening at 5pm.  Through a lot of persistence, discipline and HEART, Fee has transformed her body and her life recently winning 1st Place Master Figure 35+ in the 619 Muscle 2015 NPC California Night of Champions bodybuilding contest!
